Sometimes we get so carried away with our work, careers and we forget that we are not fighting for our promotion in the natural but in the super natural.

We pray to God to open up the doors for us to get the titles and the extra pay. We feel great about the prayers we sent up to God. Then the first sign that the job or the promotion that we prayed about looks like it’s out of our grips we began to stress. We worry. That worry turns into fear.

Now we have put all that we prayed for in jeopardy because of our unbelieve that God is the God that he said he is. John 16:13 says

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,

 he will guide you into all truth:

for he shall not speak of himself;

but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:

 and he will shew you things to come.

God loves us we are his children and he created a plan for our lives before we were placed on this earth. So why can’t you trust him enough to know that HE knows what is best for you. Why can we trust man more then we trust our God. Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart

    and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways submit to him,

    and he will make your paths straight.

God will direct your paths  his word says submit to him. Meaning give it to him.  The definition of submit is to accept or yield to a superior force or the authority or will of another person. Is God not a force to yield to? Is he not a the God of all Gods. If you can commit and submit to a person your just dating in hopes it will turn into something else.

Committing and submitting to a person that has cheated on you, lied to you, abused you, disrespected you. Why can you try God who will only love you, support you, up lift you. Promote you.  I started off talking about promotion for a job. But God wants to promote you in every area of your life.  The Merriam-Webster defines promotion as the act of moving someone to a higher or more important position or rank in the organization. It’s time to receive the promotion, the shift is doing in your life because You deserve it. God feels you deserve it, it’s by his grace. Isaiah 40:2

“Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,

and proclaim to her

that her hard service has been completed,

that her sin has been paid for,

that she has received from the Lord’s hand

double for all her sins.”

Means that God has heard your cries. He has received your prayers. It’s time to put away our small expectations and take on the mindset of a High expectation God. You want the promotion from God then speak his law…the word of God. You want to experience Gods supernatural then leave the past. 2 Corinthians 5:17. 

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature;

the old things passed away;

behold, new things have come.”

Today is your day, your shift, your promotion. Ask for it. Believe for it. So keep praising God for the promotion he has for you. in order to receive from God you have to exercise your faith and speak his word that  Psalms 75:6-7

 6 For promotion [cometh] neither from the east,

 nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 But God [is] the judge:

 he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
