How to Create a Prayer You Can Use

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3

Prayer is speaking with God and knowing that he will work things out in his will for your life. Building a prayer you can use, you should define what prayer means to you.

Prayer to me is a time that I can come to God and give him all my worries, doubts, fears, joys, love. It’s time in which I can turn to him and seek his wisdom on things that are going on in my life asking guidance on. It’s time that I can just simply be me.

never-stop-praying-www-indigometellus-comWhen I started seeking God for myself, I started writing letters to God in my journal. As I got closer to God, the bold I got in my prayers. When creating a prayer for whatever I need to bring before God, I make sure that my heart is in the right place.

I create my prayers based on my situation I’m going through.

Tips to Building your prayer

Create your prayer by knowing what it is that your coming to God for.

Create your prayer at the place you’re in, that your faith can grow into the place it needs to be.

Create a custom-made prayer guide listing the various people and situations you’re praying for.

Reminding you when and how God has answered your prayer. Keeping a Prayer Journal keep your prayers listed.

 Keep in mind

Have Faith that God will answer the prayer that you are setting before him

Stay Focus- put all other activates out of your mind. Put God 1st in prayer with him. (Matthew 6:33)

Be Specific in your prayer

Put God’s word on your prayer- find scriptures that give you the power to speak over your prayer.

Seek Intimacy with God by creating the atmosphere you can surrender all to God

Make Time- when creating your prayer make the time to but in the time you want God to give you regarding your situation.

Be Open– Prayer is about seeking the counsel of the Lord, (James 1:5)

Be Patience–  Sometimes you have wait and get ready to receive what God is preparing you for. (Numbers 9:8) (Hebrews 11:13-16)
