As I’m sitting here at work I have already listen to a message by Joel Osteen, turn in to Dr. Steib and now I’m listening to one of my favor songs “I luh God.” Looking for something that will speak some encouraging words and I have a lot. But trying to zero in on that thought for the day that will bless God’s people as I have already been bless this morning. I’m finding a little hard to do.  So I will just speak from the heart the words I feel the Lord is speaking to me.

When I hear that song “I luh God” by Erica Campbell it speaks to everything in my being and it doesn’t hurt that the beat is a little ratchet but it makes you just want to sing out loud to your problems to the devil how much you love God. How much everything in your life is because of him. Because of his goodness you are able to be.

My love affair with God stated when I was young. The first time I can remember being in the prayer line God told me he could see the love I had for him in my heart. It made me feel great, that he could see all the way in my heart and know that I had a place for him there. I may had not known everything about the Lord at that time. But I knew I loved him.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. Psalm 91:14

As I reflect over my life I see why God has spared my life and delivered me from bad relationships, friendships, business dealings and everything else that I hadn’t had the strength to rescue myself.  Because of the love I have for the lord I have received his mercy, his goodness, his favor. It wasn’t because I was so good. It was just from the pure love. In every dark day my love for him has overshadowed the pain, the worrying, the doubt, the helplessness.

Psalm 9:10 ‘Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.’

Because God has earned my trust and I give it to him freely just like I give him my love because he has never cheated on me, he has never left me even when I felt alone and abandoned he has found me and therefore I have found him.

Relying on his words, speaking them to my situations, knowing that I can walk it out through faith. Knowing that God is my everything. He is my love, my heart, my marriage, family, my healing, my finances, my business, my home, my whatever it is that I need

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Matthew 9:29.

Truth be told, I’m living how I wanna, aye
