Making my way to a Million

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

When I started blogging this year I was like who is going to want to read what I have to say. I doubted myself, but this didn’t stop me from doing what I felt I’ve been called to do.

Sometimes you have to take a hard look at yourself and see what magic you have and how it can be used to help someone else.

Taking that hard and I do mean a hard look at myself I realize that the goals I had for myself have changed. I was not the same person I was a few years ago.

Therefore I had to stop looking at my past me. I had to accept the things from my past that created the new me.

Ambition

Ambition is a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work. I have decided not to make an excuse for not using my talents or belittle my magic. My gifts are what make m unique.

I remember when I was in an organization in my hometown, and one of the members told me something that I never thought about regrading myself.

1. I didn’t know what the wording meant because I never had anyone use it towards me before.

2. The words made me gave me an uneasy feeling because I wasn’t sure if it was a good thing.

The young woman told me that I had the gift of gab (the ability to speak with eloquence and fluency.)  My whole life up to that point I just been labeled as a talkative person.

I could remember being kicked out of classes when I was younger because I was always talking. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to limit my words.

Only speaking to people, I felt comfortable around. Becoming self-conscious making sure not too dominant conversations or talk too much so no one could call me out as talking too much.

Owning my gifts

What a gift. Guess what? It’s one of my gifts: the ability to speak. You add that with the favor of God, and you have a winning combination.

Where did the self-doubt come from? I started to play myself looking on FB and IG seeing others with their obvious talents. Saying to my family, friends and myself who will pay to hear you speak or buy what your writing?

Your Team 

Then my team went to work. Speaking into my life, making sure I knew how talented I was, with what I have to offer. Of course, those in your winner circle don’t have to have your back, but the fact that God allows people around you to have your back is a blessing.

They will be the ones that enable you to try your products on them because they see something in you that you haven’t yet realize there.

Supporters of you

They know what God already knows that you are called for something greater. So your actual team doesn’t let you give up on yourself. They know that your breakthrough is coming soon, you just have to go a little bit further.

You may have to experience a bit more heartbreaks, Some more No’s. But You just need one YES.  So they keep encouraging you. Sending words thought out the day or week. Loving on you, making you stronger in your dreams, goals to the point it becomes your reality. (Don’t forget them in your come up, because by them blessing your life in your struggle you have the chance to bless them in your due season.)

In the article, the  Samantha Wills, Founder & Creative Director; SAMANTHA WILLS Pty Ltd explained, how she didn’t let herself get beat down because she had a vision of where her business was going. That she got herself surround around a team that took her goals and turned them into profit.

That each person, was an asset to the growth of her empire. Allowing her to turn her business and self into a millionaire. Samantha answered her calling.

Drive

I needed to read this article. I needed to know about another person becoming the person God intended for them to become. How their struggle was a just a journey of grace.

I needed to learn about her million dollar milestone so I could be inspired to reach mine. I wasn’t even thinking of the million dollar milestone but now I am. I could relate to a lot in this piece. My sister asked me yesterday why am I going so aggressive in my passion for starting my brand.

I told her because I have too. I eat, drink, sleep, thinking about what else I need to create for my brand. I want to be the very best at what I’m called to do. So I have to make sure everything is on point.

From the words that I feel lead to speak, the message that God’s gives me to write, my experience I feel lead to share. I’m my brand so therefore my brand will surpass the Million dollar milestone, not because I’m chasing after it, but because my faith, desire will open up the doors of favor that God has placed on me.

Misread for READS

I’m aggressive about my passion because I know it’s going to become more than my vision or dream that because of the calling over me that I will answer.

Especial when you’re a black woman. They try to discredit your creative thought because they misread you. They misread your body language as an attitude, discredit your work ethic and try to place their insecurities on you.

Does it matter if they misread you? They aren’t supplying your needs. Your goals, dreams, and visions aren’t theirs. It’s not up to you to explain yourself to anyone that don’t get it. Sometimes ignorant people allows their ignorance to miss out on the blessing that is you.

I have no time or space for what others think I should do or be. My parents said and did a lot of things to build me up to become my true authentic self.  And this is, where my faith comes in.

Faith

My faith in God has me on some wild type of high expectations from him.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrew 11:1

So you make not see my brand yet. But my faith sees it. I see myself becoming the woman of God that I was born to be.

Unwavering faith

 “Truly I tell you if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done … it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” Matthew 21:21-22

HIS marvelous works mixed with Faith

I have this type of faith because of what I have seen, heard and read in the bible. The Bible has several accounts of God’s marvelous works.

Of God turning barren women into mothers, men into fathers of nations and slaves into world leaders.  So I know my faith in God can turn a talkative girl from Los Angeles, Ca into a brand for his kingdom.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:14
