Day 1- Thursday

We didn’t get the chance to check out the Aga Khan Museum put we did get the chance to go to one of their large malls. It was a breath of fresh air being in Canada because there were so many different races and people just being them and not staring at us because of our skin. People were just doing them. Enjoying the day.

  1. We went to the Chill Ice House

-Which was very cold and we’re able to choose between a red or blue cape to keep you warm as you explored the room filled with ice chairs from the “Games of Throne.” and other neat things.

  1. We went to a restaurant for dinner Called “Thompson Dinner”

-I tried the Toronto’s BEST Poutine- Peking duck, crispy duck skin, black sesame seeds, green onions & hoisin duck gravy. Voted best in Toronto. It was very tasted.

Day 2 – Friday

Niagara Falls Day!

I like to call myself doing my research on the weather when I go places. But Canada had me beat. We found out that it was going to be cold when we got to Toronto with the high chance of rain. Well, I can say they didn’t lie. It was extremely cold. I had on my winter gear (pea coat, gloves, hat, missing my scarf but I needed that too and boots, while I watch the CA family members rush for warm. I wasn’t playing no games.)

  1. We started our day by getting to the “Flying Saucer” for breakfast by 10:45 am.

-The food here was very good. The service was fast and steady with the staff not missing a beat. The food was some in the amount that they served that a few of us were able to split our plate which saved us money as well.

  1. After having breakfast we’re loaded back in our rented family van and on the road towards the Canada side of Niagara Falls.
    • The great thing about buying the Niagara Falls city passes package that my sister Rainey found was that we were able to park our car after paying $5 for parking (Which was really like $3 U.S.)
      • was that we got to ride the bus system for that whole day for free,
      • went to the Butterfly Conservatory (for our niece and I think a little for my sister)
      • Journey Behind the Falls
      • Niagara’s Fury.
    • The only thing we didn’t do was get in the boat and into the water. (I’m sorry but I couldn’t feel my face so I dang sure wasn’t going to be going splashing in nobody cold water just for fun. Canada I’ll have to hit you back in the REAL summer for that or catch the Falls on the U.S. side.
    • Niagara fall
      • Is everything you read about, see on TV or could image in your head. A great body of water playing along ready to trap everyone that see it with its beauty.
  2. Waves Indoor Water Park
    1. We got off Groupon for $49 for 4 people.
      1. It was very cool, water slides, video games, a bar, and snack. Plus you would think we would be done with Water after being cold and so close to Niagara Fall. But the water park was warm as if it was a summer day so it made up a little for not doing the boat ride.
  3. Then we had dinner at Sylon which serves delicious  Italian food and once again we could have shared but the food was really cheap especial if you convert the prices to the American dollar.

By 11 pm we’re making our way back to the hotel for rest for the next day.
