Thank you letter to Mothers -Proverbs 31

Knowing that Mother’s day is this Month (May 14th) I wanted to gear this month to all the lovely ladies in our lives that either was our nature mothers, spiritual mothers, Godmothers, women becoming mothers. Just Mothers period. Let’s start with Proverbs 31. For those of you that are looking for the ideal woman, wife, and mother for your children this is the bible guide to what is describe as a GOOD woman.

Growing up in a small church I had a lot of great examples of what a mother is. From our first lady loving her children, grandchildren and church children. The Sisters of the church loving on each other’s children and my own mother, aunts, and grandmothers.

I didn’t lack for motherly love, which is sad that many people in the world haven’t been blessed enough to receive this kindness that God allowed me to experiences. I know it is God’s plan for you to experience this love either in a relationship with your wife( not mistaken in making her your mother but your life partner) or becoming a mother and changing and becoming a better mother for you children.

I want to spend time on the mothers that take a stand every day to handle the responsibility of their role as a mom either by choice through the natural, foster, adoptions or because no one else takes up the role for a child in need so you took on the challenges. My hat is off to you.

Woman to Mother (
Proverbs 31:25-30)

“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”

Your beauty is in the rare sightings, strength to go days without sleep, food, and peace just so your family can live. Your laughter comes from the painful late nights praying to God for relief our your situation so your family can grow

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”

To all the women out here that have been told that they are bitter. Have been called a Bitch. Have been disrespect by a man who didn’t know your worth. I pray that love fills you so that you continue to pass this own to your children. The words that you speak from your pain is just a testament to your purpose.

“She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.”

To the women out her giving up their food so their children can eat. The women out here doing what they have to do so that their children can grow up into purposeful human beings I thank you.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:”

For these women out here that think that all you do is going unnoticed just remember that when that child walks across the stage that they have done so because of you. If you didn’t have any support when you were growing up just know you were built to be strong as you take on this mothership role. That God blessed you with this family because he knew that they needed you to be by their sides for all the things they will have to endure in life.

“Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”

Just when you thought that God didn’t hear all those late night cries know that when your family is growing and making and taking care of families of their own that you’re not forgotten and it because of the grace of God that your beauty is still shining even brighter.

Thank you for all the things that you’re called to do all wrapped in a package called mother. We love you beauty Queens more than you know.
